and paid by the NCAA and the players union would have decided this thing quickly and there'd be no perception of home cooking.
It's what happens in the NFL all the time.
A third party decides how the rules get applied and then we have an outcome and everyone would feel good about it and it would be final and it would be over.
And that's a benefit to having the thing that the NCAA keeps resisting.
An in-house union, a collective bargaining agreement and an arbitration process that gets cases like this wrapped up quickly and reliably and fairly.

I know that Schefter made some comments recently that it was clearly speculation, but he also said he thinks it's more likely than not that Donald comes back.
