And that was why, in my opinion, that's why the language of the press release on Friday was vague.
I understood why it was vague, but I also understood why a lot of Chicago media picked that statement apart and made it seem like Hammond wasn't the only location.
And I don't agree with that, but it doesn't matter what I think.
It doesn't matter until we put shovels in the ground.
I can tell you they're working hard on Hammond as we speak.
Everybody, including the state government, is looking at this new location.
I imagine we're going to do some environmentals to confirm what we already know, but the Bears have to confirm it for themselves.
They're going to have to do geotech.
It's going to definitely set us back a couple weeks.
I don't think it's going to take a super long time to look at it because...
it's clean but the bears have to confirm that if you're going to build a five billion dollar complex there you want to make sure you know everything you're hearing is true i mean i would rather had them close the deal out and we start construction last week to be honest but but you know you know i'm not in control of this process so we just flow with the go with the flow i feel like that's true but it just still seems very fast if you still don't have the exact site selected yet how are you going to know in a couple months whether or not you can break ground

They released a statement, but they're not taking questions.
I saw him at Hal's Hall yesterday.
He was on the sidelines watching on Field 3 with everybody else.
Emma said they ran into him today out there at the hall as well.
So I guess he's got his representatives.
I mean, he does have to still pay attention to the football.
You don't want to lose that part of it.
