Ibarra's attorneys argue his constitutional rights were violated when the judge declined two defense motions before trial.
One asking for a delay to allow more time for expert DNA analysis.
The other would have excluded some cell phone evidence.
Clark County Superior Court Judge H. Patrick Haggard oversaw the trial and delivered the verdict.
His order denying a new trial says Ibarra's rights were not violated and that evidence of his guilt is overwhelming and powerful.
Ibarra is Venezuelan and had been allowed to stay and pursue his immigration case after entering the country illegally in 2022.
