And so the war industry, Gorbachev wanted to join NATO.

And so did Putin.

That's right.

I mean, that's the tragic.

And after 9-11, they wanted to offer all sorts of help because they've had all sorts of terrorist attacks by Chechen separatists, etc.

So that's the tragedy.

But we couldn't allow that.

In order to continue this massive infusion of money into the war industry, you had to create an enemy.

And so we did.

And I think that's what they're doing.
