Like unless it's something like Amazon where you can just load it to your balance and make it easy.
But if someone like if I have a random gift card, I'm like, I just don't even want to think about it.
Oh my gosh.
Get rid of them.
Yeah, I would say it's harder, a lot harder.
We went to Japan over spring break and Japan from San Francisco is already one of the hardest routes.
And so I remember I was like, We are going to book flights right when the schedule opens.
So like we were in Hawaii at the time, which meant I think it opened at eight AM Pacific.
So it meant it actually opened at like five five AM in Hawaii.
And ever for like three days before I would log on and see how quickly they got taken.
I didn't realize that it's very much day of the week dependent.
And so when we wanted to buy our flights to Japan, which was on a weekday, logged in in the morning, I knew I was only gonna get two seats each flight.
So I bought two seats from San Francisco to Narita and two seats from San Francisco to Hanaida at the other airport in Tokyo.
And my wife and I just agreed we're gonna split up.
Each of us will take one kid and I volunteered to take the kid that we thought would be the harder kid on the flight.
Um
this is this isn't bad.
And with the expectation that sometime between three hundred and sixty one days out and departure, something else would open up.
So like my theory and logic, whether you're booking for one or five, however many people, is book something that is enough to lock the trip in and then see what happens.
And I'll give another example.
