Uh in this occasion it was the break foot.

So the players were not uh caught unawares about this.

It would have been mentioned.

It's about adapting.

It's about how quickly you start working with the referee.

And it was a great shame that that Ardy wasn't on the pitch because he has a great rapport, the way he speaks to referees, and that counts massively in terms of getting your message over and getting more importantly the message back from the referee.

Because there are always going to be uh different interpretations.

You know, Dixon referees differently uh to Luke Pierce, who is who's my favorite.

English referee.

I think he works really well with the players.

And you had Christoph Ridley who's getting better and better, and uh and and Matt, who you know all about.

So you've got there four different uh referees.

Some of them will will will referee to what they're being told to, others like Luke will let the game flow and and

referee what he sees, it's what Nigel Owens was so very good at.

So yeah, don't go on and on about the interpretations.

It's always been there.

It's about how good you are.

In adapting to the referee.

And yes, if the referee's having an absolute howler and missing major basic refereeing decisions, yes, hammer it.
