They're too scared to throw properly into the line-up.
They haven't worked well enough.
And we know that the line outs these days are all about systems, about, you know, fainting, about lifters having the right timing.
It's such a complicated, moving part.
But there are teams who do it really well.
And Steve Borthwick has given England an outstanding line out.
And I just don't understand how, during a series, the all-black line out hasn't got better.
Yes, you're changing your locks.
Doesn't help, you know.
Last year, it was Scott Barrett and Fabian Holland who was having a fantastic line out year.
But, you know...
That's an aspect of the game which if you're going to launch this back line and you have got fantastic talent, you've got to get the ball there early into the midfield and you're not going to do it off a prop standing at one in the line-out.
And then we come to the scrum.
On your own ball, most of the time, you're getting that ball back.
If the guys hit the deck...
Play the ball, play the ball is a shout you want to hear.
But it just got so obsessive about walking around.
It was really interesting to hear Kyle Sinclair this week talking about that scrum battle, you know, from a props point of view.
And he thinks that it was probably only one occasion in watching the test matches he's watched, the three, where somebody actually walked around.
But it became such a talking point.
