There just seemed to be unhappiness there, you know, which for me, I'm thinking if I'm,
59 at Manchester United, I'm the manager, I'd be sleeping with a coat hanger in my mouth upside down, I'd be smiling all the time.
And that was the players as well, it just didn't seem a happy place.
Now, for whatever reason, and as I said, I'm not going to criticise anybody, certainly not Jose, but it looked a far happier performance, an evanescent performance, a bubbly performance yesterday, they've turned up, haven't they?
should we be having a go at the players?
Because irrespective of what the manager's there, then the players have still got to perform.
But it is our jobs, it is my job, it is a manager's, coach's job to ensure you get the best out of them.
And whatever players you have, whether you're thinking you should be finishing 10th, try and finish 4th, try and finish as well as you possibly can.
Well, it's always the same.
When the new manager comes in, the caretaker manager comes in, everybody's got a smile on their face.
It changes them.
If he becomes the manager, he's having to sign the players, pick the players.
He's got a lot of good staff around him as well.
I see Mike Phelan was back with him.
A lot of experience about that club that's around the place, so...
I think he will just try to keep them playing the way they played on Saturday, but they'll have tougher tests.
Do you think he's the sort of player... I had a really good meeting with myself, Robbie and his dad.
it's just up to him when he wants to decide i mean that's how i've left it to be quite honest with you it's not my decision as to whether he plays no for the republic of ireland it's only my job if he decides that he wants to stay with us that i can pick him he's a future captain though isn't he
Yeah, I think he's a really talented player.
He was a lovely lad.
