Certainly, I think Cammy was saying, when the team sheets went round the fans and they saw that Wilf wasn't playing, they immediately started panicking.

He certainly has a sort of a charm over the Palace team that sort of breeds confidence into all of them, doesn't he?

There's some stark statistics which won't make great viewing for him or for the Palace fans.

Would you ever think, OK, Cammy and I were talking about this, whether it would be maybe what Roy Hodgson might try and do is start him on the bench, let the team get into a strong lead and then bring him on towards the end when there's less pressure at that point?

I guess the positive as well, Cammy, is he's getting himself into all the right positions, isn't he?

Those opportunities aren't going his way at the moment, but as long as he's still getting those chances... He didn't hide, that's one thing for certain.
