Exactly.
That's exactly the issue.
They were essential.
Without them, we would have had very likely a very different outcome.
you would have had soldiers incapacitated as they arrived.
And if they're vomiting and nauseous as they arrived, not able to hunker down and listen to their commanders, they're dead.
It would have been a massacre.
All thanks to a plant that you can find on the east coast of Australia that was brought to our attention by Aboriginal peoples.
Australia became one of the primary producers of that and it was used in anesthesia.
It was used, obviously, in seasickness medicines.
It was used in eye surgery.
It was used for gastrointestinal issues.
And Australia became...
At certain periods, the largest supplier of those very in demand compounds that were necessary to create those medicines through that plant.
And there were basically farms set up all over southern Queensland to harvest that.
Which was making millions of dollars in profit, which none of that was shared with Indigenous communities.
So they were basically fixing prices.
So they have partners overseas.
They're supposed to be with governments, as you know, there's like usually a bidding process where you have competition and you have different companies that will submit bids to provide this compound, right?
And that competition is meant to provide cheaper prices to the public for their medicines.
