there we go all right chris knobloch spoke today max jones up with rnh and captain and here's the oilers head coach well jones has been playing really well uh last uh well throughout the year um here's an opportunity for him to get a little more obvious time a little more opportunity i certainly don't want him to get away from his game what he's been doing is the reason why we put him on that spot just simplicity matched

But more importantly, just the speed, getting in the forecheck, making it hard on the other teams, mostly defensemen, which just makes everyone else's job a little bit easier. matched

A lot more desperation, a lot more urgency on pucks, loose pucks, and we battled hard.

We won a lot.

You know, I liked our cycle in the offensive zone.

We were able to spend a lot more time in down there.

So there was a lot of things, and everybody contributed.

Six minutes left, whatever that timeout was.

Last one in the second period.

Felt a little discomfort.

Came by our bench.

He obviously finished the period.

You know, we got tested out in the training room, and then we felt it was best for him and obviously our team to let's not push it and make something worse.

And then we made that decision in between the period that Jari would be going in.

Well, he knows that our team needed a win, and also we're playing a little short-handed, and who needs to pick up, he's going to be the guy.

Tonight, every shift, he was really dialed in, played extremely well, and I've seen him play a lot of good games, and that was one of his best.

That's obviously a big accomplishment for myself.

Yeah, not one I really had on my radar.
