And we will start actually working backwards from yesterday's show. We had Edmonton Motors General Manager Stan Bowman on. We've had lots of people ask and query about Maxime Berejkin and Bowman had this to say.
Yeah, well, a year ago at this time, we had been talking to him throughout the year last year. Dan Milstein, right? Dan Milstein, yep. Dan represents him, and we had many conversations a year ago thinking that he was going to want to come over. He decided that he felt he had some unfinished business there in the KHL, which we understand that. You know, you don't ever want to force a player that he has to come over. But now that he's been through another season, I think it sounds like he's more interested in the NHL coming over. So we've had great discussions with the player and the agent. Nothing's finalized yet, but that's trending to where I think he's going to want to come over.
There's also been a bit of a template in terms of how the Edmonton Oilers are developing players. And Matt Savoy spent most of your last year in the minors and has come up and worked his way up in the Oilers top six. The Oilers are developing Isaac Howard. And Quinn Hudson. Quinn Hudson leads all AHL rookies in goals. Isaac Howard is third. Isaac Howard's only played 45 games. Here's Bowman on Savoy's path to the NHL and whether or not it can be replicated.
