But if I got super hung up on like, I cannot make a profit from this woodworking business, then I would fail at entrepreneurship if I started there.
Whereas if I approach this from the angle of, all right, I like woodworking.
What else do I like?
Maybe I like running.
Maybe I like cooking.
Maybe I like short-form videos.
And I just start trying all those new things.
And eventually, I'm going to have enough surface area for testing that I'm going to find things where β have you heard of the Ikigai principle?
Right?
So what you love, what you're good at.
what the world needs and what you can charge for, right?
The overlap of that is the sweet spot.
That's what's scalable.
That's what you can do until you die.
But if you get super hung up on that on day one, like I'm just not passionate about that.
Like you're never going to find it.
Like you're going to be in that job forever.
My career follows the same arc, which is I tried tons of things and then I built this marketing business and then that became more of a product business and grew.
And I didn't love it.
Like it wasn't my passion to do, to help like Coca-Cola sell more cans of Coke or like, you know, Uber sell more Ubers necessarily.
