Yeah, for sure.
I would say that's the big thing they talked about is just, you know, getting ahead first pitch strikes, you know, the average of the first pitch strike, you know, the batting average goes down a lot.
So as that happens, you know, it definitely helps you out in the long run.
So, yeah.
Yeah, I think it's just I don't know.
I just always done that.
I really don't really think about it too much.
It's just I'd say the vert comes natural to me.
Yeah, so I was probably about like 12.
And he just showed me like the grip.
He used to call it the bird grip because it's like your fingers up like that.
But yeah, I started that.
But it used to be like slurvy.
And then this past offseason with Gomez in rehab, we worked on trying to get more 12.6.
It's still not 12.6, but it's a lot more closer to that than the past.
It was more slurvy.
Yeah, for sure.
And then also with the righties, you know, if it starts at them, it's probably going to be in the zone if it's like a slur.
And, you know, I kind of just like to have that 12-6 play off of like my fastball.
