This one is, I have believed in the characters and now there is a puppet in the story that literally goes, I'm a puppet.

And that to me, to me,

That's why I said story-wise, I really loved this book.

At the end, that really hurt it for me because it no longer felt real.

It no longer felt like there were any stakes.

Well, I understand the horror of a character saying, no, I'm a real person.

I totally understand that.

the issue I have with it is that this is not a story about Callahan confronting the fact that he may not be a real person.

This is a much bigger story than that.

And unless there is going to be, unless King is going to own this and provide some structure for,

for why he has now made himself a character, then I just, I feel like I'm gonna be let down.

I get that.

Yeah.

I mean, because up until that, I didn't love that it was lightsabers.

I didn't love that it was Dr. Doom because to me, it felt like it had so much more potential to be something so much cooler.

Right.

And I'm like, this idea of these things called wolves and what are they is so cool.

That's one of the main things that propelled me through this story.

And you have grandparent talking about what it was and whispering it and we don't get to know.
