I'm going to do a few things.

As you know, Bob, I have a book coming out in April.

So I'm doing a few book-related things.

And so, yeah, just been...

uh kind of doing that and getting back it would be nice if the polar vortex wasn't crossing all of north america you're from you're from dryden for god's sakes it's not much warmer there actually it's colder uh buddy of mine checked me yesterday it was minus 46 with the wind chill

You're smarter than I think you're giving yourself credit for.

The book is called Earned.

Okay.

Earn the true cost of greatness from one of hockey's first competitors.

It is basically, you know, part memoir, part life lessons gleaned from life, you know, growing up in small town Canada, having some difficult decisions to make.

with respect to youth sports, hockey, et cetera, all the way up through junior, early troubles in my National Hockey League career in Hartford and early time in St.

Louis, and then, you know, trying to figure it out and what it took to overcome.

You know, I see online here every once in a while a player will get booed on home ice or a team will get booed, and I'm like, try going through three years of that and see how you do.

Yeah.

So it was certainly not the easiest start to my career, but I think having gone through all that adversity and figured it out on the other side, all of the things that came afterwards, the success, the difficulties, the heartbreaking losses, having gone through that early period,

I certainly helped me overcome a lot of that difficulty later on in my career and also set me up for some of the success I had and the great victories that I was a part of.

championships and things of that nature so uh you know walk through that walk through life after what i'm doing now there there may be a thing or two about edmonton in there for those that are interested and then uh you know just kind of what i'm doing now and uh you know some some public speaking on leadership and culture and things of that

And then, you know, obviously broadcasting and the book and doing some media hits like this with yours truly, Bob Stauffer.
