It's not bad.

He's like the uh the two sports star.

He's like the Deion Sanders version of uh of calling two sports in one play.

Well, there's plenty to remember since that twenty twenty two All Star season.

It's just that ninety five percent of it is on defense and there's nothing wrong with that.

Like he is

the best defensive second baseman in the game and it's not close.

It's going to be reminiscent of when Roberto Alamar first came up to Toronto, where he was making plays

going to his left that just other guys couldn't get to, right?

I mean Robbie Alamar was originally a shortstop when he was coming up in the Padres organization.

He gets traded over to Toronto and he's one of the best second basemen we've ever seen.

And that's exactly what you're getting.

Now the difference is that I think that Jimenez could eventually move back to his original position of shortstop and we can get to that in a bit.

But you're getting a guy that is there every day, uh, brings a smile.

This is not going over great in Cleveland in part because of his personality and who he is and how much fun he is to watch on defense.

Uh the problem has been

that since peaking in twenty twenty two with an OPS of right around eight thirty, it's fallen off the table.

You know, it was low seven hundreds in twenty twenty three and I think

Cleveland probably doesn't make this move if that's where he was this past year.

But he was one of the worst everyday hitters in baseball last year in terms of OPS.
