And that's way more important.
Now, in the world we all live in, because we all create content, well, Aaron Boone is taking it easy on Anthony Volpe.
That might be true.
Uh the pub that is certainly the public perception.
But we don't know what's happening behind closed doors.
And that's why I'm always reluctant to say, well, Aaron Boone's not being tough enough on Anthony Volpe.
Well, we only see what he's saying in front, you know, in a five minute postgame press conference.
Could he have been a little more forceful uh on Monday night when Volpe made another big error to to uh help the Blue Jays get a fourth run in that inning?
Sure, could he have said
Hey, Anthony Volpe was a gold glover as a rookie, and I fully expect him to get back to that level.
And right now he's not playing at that level.
I don't think that's taking a dig at one of your players.
I think those are facts.
He went a different tact where he said, Hey, you know, he's made
Three or four plays that have gotten some big press, and that's the reason that he's not, you know, in gold glove contention this year.
Well, we could argue those facts all day.
I don't think he's particularly accurate there.
But at the same time when those cameras go away.
And we're not rolling video.
