You've seen this in the special election right here in Texas.
And the reality is, is that especially in major metros, the Democrats' turnout floor has always been much higher than the Republicans'.
They have a machine that's able to
even if they have a gap in votes overall, they are able to turn out their people more efficiently than Republicans are.
And so I think it's going to take a monumental effort by Republicans at the federal and at the state level to message this, to tell people that
The mission has not yet been accomplished.
We've accomplished a lot, but all of that could be thrown completely into chaos for two years.
If the Democrats take control of the U.S.
House, Trump and half of the cabinet are getting impeached on January 21st.
You know, it's going to be chaos from the moment that the new Congress is seated.
I think that's exactly right.
And that's why the response should be for conservatives and conservative politicians to not listen to the forces that say, oh, well, if you keep going with your policy program, you're going to scare the soccer moms and you're going to drive moderates over to the Democratic Party.
It's really not a question of driving people to one party or another.
What it really is, is trying to motivate your base to turn out.
And so what I would encourage all of these people to do is deliver on the agenda that you want on in 2024.
Continue to be committed to those same policies and broadcast them and communicate to the voters that in order to get this done, you guys have to come out.
Well, first of all, I think that when we're looking at the last year, we have to recognize that the Trump administration faced an extremely uphill battle in trying to get numbers of people out of the country that are here illegally.
And that's why you saw the foundation being laid for it.
You had the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed.
You had the 12,500 new ICE agents hired.
