Red Sox, Yankees, Fenway, 78.
It was very much like the regular year.
Red Sox slid first half of the year, 2-0 through six, then hits the home run, fell behind by more, and then clawed and battled and scratched.
And then, of course, Yaz pops up with 2-1 in the ninth off Gossage, and they lose the game 5-4.
So that, to me... Pinnell and the Suns stabbing at a bouncing ball and gets it.
Lin hit it down there.
That game has got so much drama to it.
Yom Kippur...

We didn't have school that day.
That was Yom Kippur.
Early October of 78, 5-4 Yankees.
It was a Monday, no school.
And the Yankees won a championship that year.
They beat the Royals and they beat the Dodgers.
That game, those innings were for the World Series.
Those two or three innings.
That was one of the great games I've ever seen.

Really?
