The best football player starts not with a talent.
To me, it starts with the mentality that you have.
You know, you can have all the talent.
If you don't have the right mentality, you're not going to get there.
So everything starts with mentality and how strong you can be in your head, you know.
And...
I just think that if you don't have that mental fortitude, how can you handle so many games, so many things going on?
Today you see those kids have so many games.
I wonder if my son has not played almost 60 games this season.
it's ridiculous you know football have changed you need to be really strong mentally but it's in a different way now you know before was more like really the life challenge where now it's more really like everything is gone younger
younger and they put more stress and more, you know, you see injuries that you've never heard before, like back injuries for a 14 year old, like stress fracture, fall back or things like that.
So you understand that the amount that they put, you know, the pressure they put on those kids to be successful quicker,
It's really tough.
They have no life.
We used to sacrifice because we chose to sacrifice our childhood.
But now with the system and how things are going, it's sacrifice anyway.
Them be kids, it's very difficult.
They have barely time.
Even see them, it's not easy.
