But for a few years now
Um the sort of anti-gambling movement and the gambling commission, so far as they're separate things, which are not really anymore, uh, have been very keen.
And indeed, you know, uh ministers have been quite keen on this idea of affordability checks.
It's an idea that sounds okay if you're just talking about it in a pub late at night.
Um the idea is let's make sure that people who gamble quite a bit of money can actually afford to do so and then they won't get into terrible scrapes and we'll prevent problem gambling.
