Yeah, they they just added their voice basically to a chorus of people saying the same odd stuff.
This thing about banning fast food outlets from um near schools, by which I usually mean four hundred meters, which is actually not that near.
In fact, if you live more than four hundred meters from somewhere that sells fresh food, you live in a food desert in this country.
It's really not very far to walk, is it?
Well you certainly have the the idea is you can't open new kebab shops, new fish and chip shops.
So it's great for the incumbent kebab and fish shop industry.
And a lot of this is spite because KFC keep
fighting local councils when idiot local councils say we don't want the KFC in the area.
It's like, well, the w we're we're opening it up because people do want it.
We think there might be latent demand here actually.
And if people don't want it, then that's that's our loss, isn't it?
But we're gonna open this thing.
And uh so they they take these councils to court because what the councils are doing is actually illegal.
And Layla Moran and these people don't like that.
So they want to close whatever so called loophole.
Uh it is that stops these little uh pocket hitlers and um and local councils from stopping chip shops from opening up.
So yeah, they they just did their report.
The whole thing, it was the usual kangaroo court select committee.
They had like Chris Van Tooliken give evidence, they had some of these youth activists, so called from Bite Back, which is one of Jamie Oliver's front groups, giving so called evidence.
It was a farce and it was always obvious what they're gonna say.
