Yeah, this is where I think some maybe he gets misinterpreted a lot or I don't know, sometimes his language would suggest otherwise to me.
But I mean, ultimately, I agree with you that he thinks there's a story to be told about the evolution of subjects of why you would have this discriminatory multifactorial process going on in the brain.
And but I mean, there is a there's a subject that we all have the feeling of being separate from our environment and separate from other organisms or even just thinking about feeling exhausted.
I think these are better examples than like feeling the qualia of seeing red or something like that.
But like, you're right.
I don't know if Dennett would say, sure, that's all perfectly plausible under my sort of picture, multi-draft model picture of where it's just a bunch of processes and discriminations going on.
