There is a complicated, difficult situation that's happening between two people who love each other, who are doing what they need to do best for themselves.

Right?

Yeah, without placing the burden on the other person to do something about it, to make you feel less uncomfortable.

Again, undergirding this conversation is this care for each other because it ends with...

I love you.

I love you too.

And they're both.

Like nobody feels great, but the love doesn't go away.

You know what I'm saying?

Like this acknowledgement of awkwardness, of discomfort or whatever, doesn't mean that I stop loving you.

Which is the point.
