When we rewind this almost exactly 12 months ago, it feels a little bit like Travis Scott.
And people were like, okay, well, let's just wait and see with the Travis Scott situation.
Well, let's wait and see what's going on here.
We got Travis Scott.
We got The Rock.
We got John Cena.
That kind of felt a little bit like the NWO.
I saw the comparisons being made last year.
And then that ended up turning into...
a big pile of nothingness.
And it led to this WrestleMania main event with all of these expectations, none of which were met except for the expectation of John Cena winning the 17th championship, but no payoff there, no explanation, even not even a one sentence explanation as to why Travis Scott was in the ring for his heel turn.
So I understand the knee jerk reaction.
I get it.
With that said,
You heard the reaction on SmackDown last Friday.
Fans are booing now, even though they were cheering Randy Orton no matter what he did.
They're not booing Randy, I get it.
