They're booing Pat, still cheering Randy.
But I think tonight on SmackDown, we get a real explanation.
Because I just...
I don't see how Randy Orton can walk out to possibly and probably winning his 15th title at WrestleMania of all places with Pat McAfee in this kind of like managerial role.
Unless all of this is somehow being done to have Randy turn on Pat in the main event to get that massive pop.
And then Randy is the 15 time champion as just the baby face that fans want him to be.
Randy Orton as a heel is great, but let's be honest here.
We're just going to keep cheering him.
Pat McAfee tweeted that he has a massive surprise to announce on SmackDown, which at this point feels like it could be anything.
The final boss feels like he could be built into this, could be
put into this in some sort of way, and maybe we finally get a payoff for last year, man, that'd be wonderful.
Even if it wasn't intentional at all, even if it's just them going, ooh, that segment didn't quite go over the way that we thought it would.
What can we do to try to resolve this, to try to make something of it?
But I think that if we look down the line with this,
Here's where I think this could go.
I'm not saying it's going to go there, but I'm saying here's where it could go.
Let's, to quote my good friend Sam Roberts, let's speculate wildly.
Because it feels like this could be the 2026 version of the corporation.
Like this could be the TKO heel stable.
Vince McMahon worked so well as such a great heel as that Mr. McMahon character after the Montreal Screwjob because he leaned into how people felt about him.
