Part of the fascination, I think, of her relationship with her father, Pat Summerall, is that she bonded with Trump.
Because she knew all about, not only was she a sports junkie, which Trump loves to talk about, but she absorbed the zeitgeist of 1970s Manhattan.
And she, that whole bygone era of the Copacabana and Sammy Davis Jr.
And she could talk with Trump about stuff like that, which he just loves.
And it was part of their bonding experience.
