The second thing that I would recommend matched

on what I do at the very beginning is assess the situation, assess the student, assess and involve the families too. matched

So you really want to get some good insight as to what are the different needs. matched

Of course, everybody's got differences and individual needs that need to be addressed, but really to get a good idea of what are we working with here so we can create a sensory-friendly classroom, a sensory-friendly environment at school so everybody wins. matched

And then we'll talk about some accommodations and stuff, but just really help guiding the matched

the idea to the staff members, to the paraprofessionals, to the instruction, to the one-to-one aides, the TSAs, the teachers, the admin, that when we can meet people's needs, when we can provide matched

sensory supports, then we will see that student shine even more. matched

We'll see their true potential. matched

We'll see that if a student's regulated, they'll be able to meet their academic needs. matched

They'll be able to meet all of, you know, they'll be able to grow. matched

So that's really the idea here. matched

What ends up happening is that if the student's sensory needs aren't being met or... matched

or we're not providing those supports to meet those needs, then we're going to see that student have challenges. matched

And then we go down the rabbit hole of, well, how do we suppress or prevent that child or that student from doing this? matched

And then they put in plans that just end us up on the hamster wheel because we're never addressing the root cause. matched
