So my line of communication on collaboration is really effective through email. matched

I use an extension on Google. matched

Now I know this isn't a... matched

technology um episode but i use something called loom l-o-o-m people love that if you've ever emailed me and you've had a question or just uh in general i like video and it's an easy way for me to give a visual so basically what it is is it can screen record or it can record matched

myself to where I can just discuss what's happening in the class. matched

I can send a Loom video to a teacher to do a quick tutorial. matched

It might take a minute or two. matched

And then I can reuse that as well for future teachers. matched

So it becomes really helpful in that way of collaborating. matched

Moving beyond that, though, like when I collaborate with one-to-one aides and others, matched

in person, part of that collaboration piece is to understand that even if we disagree with an approach or they're not quite fully on board yet, or even if there's a certain approach that's not really working, I have to seek to understand where they're coming from and then help guide that individual and use language that is more of help and guidance and suggestions like, hey, so what do you think about if matched

We were able to have Johnny sit the back of the classroom a little bit, maybe even not even sit. matched

But I think that that student from time to time learns better when they're standing. matched
