Chances are four out of six people that you could see was doing exactly what you were doing the previous night.
And there's that.
It was a strange sense of community.
And I don't think I knew it then.
I only know it now because it's gone.
It's gone.
Well, you know, I thought that I would have a lot more time and a lot more energy.
And, Sarah, I was wrong.
I was mistaken.
Because it turns out that the old muscle memory of getting up very early, because also remember that, so I started, I mean, my first breakfast radio job was 2003 and I worked in breakfast radio, you know, I've worked in breakfast radio on more than off over the last 23 years.
I think I've had two years off.
In the midst of that, I've also had three babies and haven't taken any time off work.
And so I basically wake up and get out of bed as if I'm fleeing a burning building.
That's how it happens.
And I thought it was only because I had breakfast radio to get to.
Turns out I still do.
So I'm still an early riser.
And I tried to fight it.
I tried to fight it because, you know, I'd been tired, like bone tired for 23 years.
And I was like, I'm going to sleep in.
