I want to go back to like the urethane wheel.
That was amazing.
I was in Hawaii and my dad shaped a skateboard out of like a surfboard like thing.
It was fiberglass, had the Jerry Lopez lightning bolt on it.
It was an upturned sharp nose with a downturned square tail skateboard.
And we had Chicago trucks and we had Cadillac wheels.
How insane was that as a little kid?
It was the most insane moment, you know, because I'm bombing the hill in front of my house in Lanikai out near Kailua where we lived.
And I was only there for second grade for like a year or so.
And we moved back to California.
But definitely like that was, I don't know where you were, what you were doing, how that.
I was in Long Beach.
And was skateboarding something that you did?
Would that be 75?
When I think about it, before Jay's photo with him going around the cone,
before like you know the steve kathy photo you know the these photos are kind of like the the ones that brought out photography obviously warren bolster you know the the photographers that meet with the skaters and create something magical you know what i mean and definitely the cadillac kid has that almost like jerry lopez feel because he was just 100 percent
You know what I mean?
And that's how I felt even before I ever met him.
You know, now that I'm friends with him, it's just, it's still surreal to meet all of my, you know, heroes or guys that I saw in magazines.
