Every time we go to like to the Hall of Fame, you'll see guys that, you know, sometimes come around, sometimes don't.
And you still remind you of why you skate, what inspired you to skate, you know?
I mean...
I've been hanging out with Olsen and his friends throughout the 80s and all that, doing skull skates, jimmies, going out to clubs and being bros.
But still, he's Steve Olsen, the guy that I saw in the magazines.
Yeah, I'll share a little bit about Bruce.
Bruce went through some difficult times with addiction and all that.
Yeah.
We did a documentary called Dope with me, him, Dennis Martinez, and Jay Adams, and it was called Death or Prison Eventually.
Okay.
Dope, you know, is an acronym.
And when we got together, it was great to see him kind of like clear up, you know, went from being, you know,
homeless, him and Dennis, Dennis was homeless as well, and got sober and to see them give their lives to Christ and to really embrace this opportunity to be an example through a documentary that you can make it back from how far you've gone.
And that's why our stories were received and a testimony is so powerful.
Because people need to see a success story or a second chance being, you know, done.
And I saw him, you know, Bruce the other day.
And I got to hug him and pray with him and everything.
He was there with Chris Ahrens.
And just to see, you know, him there and smiling.
You know what I mean?
