And, you know, I succeeded at that by beating, you know, obviously Tony Hawk in his prime at his home park.

You know what I mean?
And we were young.
You know, this is like 85.
He beat me in 84.
I beat him in 85.
The 540 was the big thing.
Me and him were like, and Lance were like the only guys that could do 540s.

Besides McGill.

So we were just like from, you know, just being the guys under McGill.
McGill was the guy at that moment.
But immediately, once we learned it, you know, we became the competitors of the day, the top guys overall.
And so those moments of actually accomplishing, you know, what I've set out since I was eight, Skateboard World, Torrance to Marina Del Rey, was like crowning achievement.
