But that has been the most common reason why that it's not...

The second one has been about child labor, because obviously in our, in our country, there's very, very strict child labor laws.
And so when you start treating a minor child,
and the years they spend in a club as some sort of financial metric, with some kind of metric, it starts to kind of blur the line of, is this kid an economic asset and how does that affect whether they're paid or not paid?
And that gets a little blurry and there's gonna be people here who tell me that I'm screwing this up a little bit, but you get the point.
Those were the two primary issues.
There was actually a case
where, uh, some clubs did try to get training compensation.
Um, it was for Yedlin and it involved, um, a couple of clubs.
We all know, um, crossfire out of Seattle, Texans out of Dallas and soccers out of Chicago.
Um, and that case, uh,
was dismissed.
So they sued for solidarity and training compensation for a DeAndre Yedlin transfer.
That case was dismissed on what's called jurisdictional grounds.
And you don't need to know why, except that jurisdictional means it had nothing to do with the actual substantive merits of the case.
It had things to do with the ability to have authority over the organizations or the organizations having connection with the location or the venue where the suit was filed.
That's lawyer speak for basically saying that the court did not rule on the merits and say you did You are owed this you are not owed this they just said hey This is not the right place and you don't have the authority over the defendants to actually get a ruling here.
So this is just Okay, then they went on to the FIFA dispute resolution chamber brought the same claim and on the merits
that FIFA dispute resolution chambers said that the clubs were entitled to solidarity payments under FIFA status, and they had a valid claim.
