I mean, because that youth to youth also starts to beg some of these questions.
And I think we have to maybe distinguish between youth to youth and youth to pro, at least maybe in step one.
But what I want to establish first is that any sort of reward for development has to be in coexistence with club fees.
Because if it's not coexistent with club fees, if you're trying to eliminate club fees, nobody's playing soccer anymore because nobody's being paid and no facilities are being developed.
So any of these payments have to first be positioned, number one, as a long-term success reward.
This is an attempt to provide an incentive to invest a little bit more, to subsidize a little bit more.
It's not going to replace club registration revenue, but it's hopefully going to could direct some changes in use of proceeds.
And if we acknowledge that, the second thing I would say is that if we're going to pay this and we know that club fees are going to exist, so you can have this sort of chicken and egg.
of the club is charging for development, but then the club might get some money for services provided.
All right, you have to acknowledge that there's a reason for that, which is why we covered.
But you can also then say, okay, if we're gonna do this, then the funds that are provided must be used in one of a few limited ways.
And you can police this with documentation and audit.
All right, number one is in a retained fund for facility development, okay?
So you're going to get a reward for developing a player that presumably most of the players, even that player, have paid for.
That money is earmarked for facility development.
Why?
Well, having more fields, having lights on fields, right?
Adding a video room, adding a training room, things like that.
Does that improve the youth experience?
Does that improve the quality?
