That money basically is passed straight through to fund a player or more for a year or multiple years.
And that's an immediate pass through in the short term.
Long term, retaining that payment to establish an endowment for future scholarships.
with a clear, I think, target with upon reaching this amount of money retained, then there will be annual scholarships associated with that endowment, just like universities have endowments that they give.
And really that's how you do ongoing scholarships, right?
You have to have a base of capital
that generates interest from short-term, sorry, interest from conservative investment.
And the interest from the endowment is what is given out annually so that you can continue to give it out every year.
And it just doesn't go away because you give it all away.
