I suppose, George, I want to ask you whether or not you agree with the suggestion that America is on the way down and China is on the way up. matched

We're gonna come on to D Day in a moment, but just just pulling at that string, I suppose it's interesting. matched

Just before we started recording, I saw a column in the uh Financial Times which said that Trump is at in danger of turning into Jimmy Carter, speaking of the nineteen seventies, and obviously that's in relation to Iran. matched

Back then obviously, uh uh and in the late sixties, uh listeners will be very aware of the conflict that America was in. matched

A lot of that came around elections. matched

We've got the midterms coming up at this stage, current polling matched

uh suggests that we're gonna get even more division. matched

George, you wrote in your book The Storm Before the Calm, uh, about this storm that we're coming through at the moment. matched
