I was at an event in Washington on Tuesday, hosted by the chairman of Lloyd's, who was visiting, and he was speaking to various sort of delegates from the sort of the US insurance market, and he reminded them of the story in 1906 of when that tragic San Francisco earthquake took place.

American insurers were struggling to pay claims.

And a message from London, probably a telegraph message, came out from one.

Underwriter in London called Cuthbert Heath, it simply said, pay all valid claims.

Just pay.

And that is such a good example of doing the right thing that we hold high up in our sort of the way we operate as a company.

And I think over time, that doing the right thing really does build you a competitive advantage and certainly respect from both your customers.
