Uh well Carmella was turning three when we lost Rosie.

So I

look forward to later in my life telling Carmela how she saved my life.

Like she really like I would never tell her now, so I don't think she could um I she thinks she I'm she might understand it.

I had fortunately I had Carmella to uh take care of.

And like when when Rosie died, like

I had this two and a half year old who was ready to be a big sister who

Like I had to explain death to her.

I had to be so present.

Like I didn't get the luxury of checking out.

Like I couldn't check out, even if I wanted to, which of course I did some days really want to.

But I I couldn't because there she was every day needing needing me.

So I think the the logistics of like staying sober through that time.

Was really because I was had a mom to her, and I would think to myself.

I don't want to lose the daughter I have.

You know, like I had I was sober enough.

I do say this, I'm glad I had nine years of sobriety before this happened to me.
