Uh they even um sent me to the Tampa Bay Bucks training camp.

And so they actually I got on a plane, of course, to fly to Tampa, which it seems like nothing now.

But sending the intern on a trip uh was, you know, that was I was told was a big deal.

So things were good.

That went well.

Went back, finished my um

uh masters and um I mean I guess the other big part of the internship was of course the locker route.

So while I'm covering sports, of course, I've never covered Northwestern football.

I've never covered I've I covered a little bit of Northwestern softball just to have my hand in it.

Otherwise I was the managing editor of the daily and covered politics the whole way, congressional races, you name it.

And so I never really covered sports for the Daily Northwestern, but that's okay.

I knew sports.

I needed to learn journalism.

And we never had any sports journalism classes.

People are shocked.

No.

I knew sports.

I I had I wanted to learn everything about journalism.

And to this day, I kind of see my I say this a lot.
