But anyway, so I had I had all that.
I had um
Just uh ultimate encouragement and and on book tours and and s meeting people with the Caitlin Clark book, other books, uh, talking to people, it's speeches and uh a lot women who m uh maybe around my age come up and they say, gosh, I wish I'd had that.
I didn't have that.
And what a shame that is for our nation to have deprived, you know, millions and millions, gen several generations of women the opportunity.
To learn
Not just to play sports, but to learn about teamwork and winning and even more important, losing at a young age, right?
Uh, and leadership and physical fitness.
I mean, what on earth were we thinking as a nation?
Uh, to do that, we're stronger as a nation, because of course of Title IX, now almost fifty-four years old.
And anyway, I got all that.
Um, and um so I I love playing sports, encouraged to do it.
Uh dad was the Pied Piper with seasoned tickets.
So we had s um we ended up with uh season tickets for the Toledo Mudhens.
We grew up in the suburbs of Toledo.
So the triple A team of the Detroit Tigers just a
Our drive away, so our little mudhens when they get called up
They'd just get in the car and throw their stuff in the trunk and be in the the Tiger Stadium by game time.
And so it was easy to cheer for both teams and and went to a lot of Tigers games.
Season tickets, the University of Michigan football, 45 minutes away, Ann Arbor, Toledo so close.
