Food is another big thing.
If they're not staying at a rental property and they're doing hotels, not really realizing what would be the most expensive.
So for us, Switzerland and Dubai, by far, have been the most expensive places that we visited and food was a big
big portion of that really or even when we went to the Bahamas a package of frozen chicken was $30 at the grocery store and then you think about it everything is shipped in so depending on where you're going what what is going on to get you access to those meals to get to get you that food

Or even guiding them on please don't eat the street food.
in this stay within the resort yes in this destination um there's a thing called bali belly that most people haven't heard from and you you got the i would say by and large the younger generations are more adventurous and willing to eat the street food from the vendors and and go into those little tiny little shoebox kiosks and eat those things um i will not be partaking of those delicacies uh but they will talk about it it's a well-known thing bali belly
that you go and you're eating from various sources that maybe don't have great cleanliness in the kitchen and then you get sick.
And then you're like, now what do I do?
And then thankfully there's resort doctors that can come and see you in your room.
You might need IV fluid, so all these things factor in.
But for me advising, this is the destination, this is what not to do.
These are things that you absolutely should be checking out while you're there.
But I'm always talking with them about, for example, when we were in Banff, I got food poisoning.
Well, I ate from a grocery store, and I was the only one that ate that certain thing from the grocery store, and it was very unfortunate.
But that's part of travel.
When these things come up, I think because those things have happened to us, and there's a running joke with some of my coworkers.
When we're about to go on a trip, they'll say, Christine, don't hurt yourself.
