Interest, budget, right?
The size of the group that they're looking at bringing.
I think on average now destination weddings, the guest list might range anywhere from 50 to 70 people.
They might invite more than that, but about 60% of guests would actually come.
And depending on the destination, guests might be asked to, you know, they're going to be pitching in for their own travel, right, by and large, about $1,800 to $2,000 for a three to four night stay.
And that's dependent on flights.
It's dependent on the category of accommodations that you're looking at.
How many nights do they want to add on pre-wedding nights, stay longer afterwards, maybe visit a local island that's nearby.
And then different destinations, you have different access to services.
You might have more vendors or suppliers in a more popular destination like Cancun than what you would in St.
Lucia.
Yeah, on average, because I think if people have enough notice that this is something that they can budget for, they can plan for in advance.
If you're going international, you want at least
12, maybe 18 months notice because you can lock the date and you're going to get better pricing at the resorts.
If you're doing something more closer to home, like, say, Mexico, you might be able to get something at nine months.
But the more notice that you can give the property, the more options you're going to have.
And that goes into different room categories, contracting group rates, because if you have a group of people coming in, a travel advisor can go into that property and say, hey, I have a bride.
She's bringing 50 guests.
We're going to need 25 rooms.
What can you bring to us?
