Yes, they do need the real ID even traveling domestically now, but outside of the United States.
I always bring my driver's license, but the passport is going to be the main form of identification.
Yes, and you can sign up at Secretary of State and get that appointment scheduled.
It's so much easier now.
And then passports, you can set those appointments up as well for brides, grooms, couples that are wanting to do destination weddings.
If guests don't have a passport, I would anticipate it could be up to three months to get those expedited.
You could pay a little bit extra and get it in two to three weeks, but I would never bank or assume.
that that is going to come in time.
So the more head notice guests have, the better.
So I always advise people take a picture of their passport.
You know, we have our cell phones now.
We can do that.
Sometimes people will even take a picture, print it out, photocopy it.
In the travel app that I utilize, that's actually uploaded.
So clients have access to that at all times.
if that happens um one of the things that we do is we figure out and this is one of the guides that i upload into their travel app is where is the closest us embassy so that is already known they've got the phone number the address that they can go there reach out make that connection and then sometimes depending on the vendor that i'm working with
They actually have on the ground support from the second that they land.
So if something like that were to happen, they've got someone navigating them.
But then I'm also available to help troubleshoot that as well.
