Yeah.
Well, what first strikes you uh if you look at this landscape of disclosure is uh
The form is there, the function is more partial.
So when I say form, we're talking about compliance rates that are very high in terms of the required structures to be built uh under the law.
So you have um the Menschenrechtbeauftragter, right?
The the human rights representative.
have the risk analysis processes, you've got a mandatory grievance mechanism set up.
And so there's a whole host of things you gotta do.
And that is by and large
present, uh uh with let's say few exceptions and and of course sometimes uh there's companies that won't just won't disclose everything they're doing.
Uh so by and large we can say the form uh is was uh implemented um rather rigorously.
Uh however in function
You have to say, okay, so do the companies actually quote unquote believe in the exercise?
And they're actually trying to use the law to collect business intelligence, build out relationship with suppliers, um, actually identify risks and violations in their supply chains.
And that's where you
To kind of see um differences.
So the the the more granular you get uh in terms of their practices, the more you see observe differences between them.
And so with our typology of 166 indicators, uh we can pick up with a rather focused scope uh
what companies are doing, what they're not doing, and what they're not doing is just as interesting into what they're doing.
