baseball, there are so many games and you are going to go through all the highs and lows of a season.
But if you have a strong team, you will get through a lot of those slumps instead of it being a seven game losing streak or they lose eight out of nine.
It's a four game losing streak, something like that.
And they can get out of it.
And that is what I'm seeing from this team that gives me a lot of hope.
Sox fans have had to be very, very patient.
And you mentioned Band-Aids.
And the patience, if you really, really were a diehard White Sox fan, you would look for the needles in the haystacks.
And you weren't really seeing it in the Major League games.
on the major league team for the first couple of years because it was all really going on in the minor leagues.
And you were just seeing the style of play and the kind of makeup of players that Chris Getz and company were acquiring, drafting, signing.
And it's my job to look for that kind of stuff.
And so I was trying to illuminate that as much as I could.
And now, and at the end of last year, you started to see it on the major league team.
And now you're really seeing it.
There's still a lot of baseball left to be played, but there are, it seemed like in the past, there were many ways that this white socks team would lose a baseball game, find a way they would lose it.
Now they're finding ways to win games and look at what happened last year.
They were in a lot of close games and they could not find ways to win games.
They were 15 and 36.
in one-run games.
