So this is a team that's gaining confidence.
And they're having this record right now.
They've only played four games in the American League Central.
And what I said before the year was, like, my bold prediction, one of them, one, I have two.
One was that Murakami was going to hit 40 home runs.
He might surpass that.
And the other one was that the White Sox, bold prediction, would have a winning record in the American League Central.
If they do that, and it's still an if, if they do that, they are competing for this division.
As crazy as that sounds...
But if they can have a winning record in this division, which they've been really, really poor in the last four years, that changes, in my opinion, the calculus of the season.
Yeah, I'm not going there yet.
I won't say that if they finish above 500, they are going to win the division.
I'm saying they can compete for the division.
The Tigers, on paper, have a better team.
But as we have seen in the past, not just with the White Sox but other teams, talent can only take you so far.
And what is really special to me about this team is that there is something brewing with this, and I'm β
I'm really emphasizing the word team.
They play as a team.
They care about each other as teammates.
And when you are playing football, NFL football, that's 17 games, you're going to show up every Sunday because you only have 17 of these.
