If they do that, and it's still an if, if they do that, they are competing for this division.

As crazy as that sounds...

But if they can have a winning record in this division, which they've been really, really poor in the last four years, that changes, in my opinion, the calculus of the season.

Chuck, you're not crazy.

Yeah, I'm not going there yet.

I won't say that if they finish above 500, they are going to win the division.

I'm saying they can compete for the division.

The Tigers, on paper, have a better team.

But as we have seen in the past, not just with the White Sox but other teams, talent can only take you so far.

And what is really special to me about this team is that there is something brewing with this, and I'm –

I'm really emphasizing the word team.

They play as a team.

They care about each other as teammates.

And when you are playing football, NFL football, that's 17 games, you're going to show up every Sunday because you only have 17 of these.

Baseball, there are so many games and you are going to go through all the highs and lows of a season.

But if you have a strong team, you will get through a lot of those slumps instead of it being a seven game losing streak or they lose eight out of nine.

It's a four game losing streak, something like that, and they can get out of it.

And that is what I'm seeing from this team that gives me a lot of hope.
