Sox fans have had to be very, very patient, and what they, and you mentioned Band-Aids, and the patience, if you really, really were a diehard White Sox fan, you would look for the needles in the haystacks, and you weren't really seeing it in the major league
on the major league team for the first couple of years because it was all really going on in the minor leagues.
And you were just seeing the style of play and the kind of makeup of players that Chris Getz and company were acquiring, drafting, signing.
And it's my job to look for that kind of stuff.
And so I was trying to illuminate that as much as I could.
And now, and at the end of last year, you started to see it on the major league team.
And now you're really seeing it.
There's still a lot of baseball left to be played, but there are, it seemed like in the past, there were many ways that this white socks team would lose a baseball game, find a way they would lose it.
Now they're finding ways to win games and look at what happened last year.
They were in a lot of close games and they could not find ways to win games.
They were 15 and 36.
in one-run games.
They got Sir Anthony Dominguez to help out in the closing department.
He's been really good, and also he's given up three home runs that have led to losses.
He hasn't been perfect, but right now as we sit here, they are 5-3 in one-run games.
That's a stat that I'm watching with this team this year because of what's happened the last couple years.
They were...
So close to winning so many games, but they just either didn't have the talent or just have the ability to find a way to win games like winning teams do.
So far, this is a team that is playing like one that can win the close games certainly better than last year.
Yeah, so Murakami has exceeded so many people's expectations.
